Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. In addition to the Road Trip role, he has also been seen in The New Guy Hustle & Flow in addition to The Core. In addition to his work in Road Trip, Qualls has appeared in over 22 TV programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma that he was diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Qualls is an avid fighter. After two years of treatment the cancer is now into the stage of remission. The treatment began so early that it had a significant impact on the body and stunted his growth. The financial security was his first aim once he started, as he'd seen poverty all through his childhood. After living so modestly for a long time, I must have this financial assurance. If not, the world appears out of my control. In an interview the actor also discusses his own childhood. His goal is to end the bullying. His experience of being a victim breaks his heart. DJ's dream role would be to be a father in reel and in reality. The director doesn't choose him to play those parts, however, he claims. In the future, he'd love to have a child so that he could devote more time and more time to his child.
